ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Relationship Manager to develop, execute and evaluate strategies and tactics designed to drive profitable sales, and growth among existing members. This person will lead key marketing efforts, with a focus on email, designed to retain and engage our customers, increase loyalty and drive repeat purchases.

WHAT YOU’LL DO EVERYDAY

  • Define our vision for email marketing and revamp our existing program from the ground up
  • Develop, execute, & manage creative and data-driven, cross-channel marketing campaigns (email, push, etc.)
  • Own and execute a lifecycle marketing strategy to drive repeat sales, build loyalty, increase lifetime value and reduce churn by engaging customers with targeted, relevant and helpful content at each stage of the customer lifecycle
  • Identify, prioritize, and test retention strategies such as incentives and loyalty programs
  • Ensure email campaigns are evolving and consistently optimized for mobile devices and emerging technologies
  • Manage the planning, development and execution of email marketing and push notification programs, including circulated brand messages and targeted campaigns based on customer segmentation
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to support key product launches designed to increase loyalty and purchase frequency
  • Monitor and report on metrics to analyze effectiveness and test/scale new approaches
  • Manage and develop direct report(s)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, lead nurturing, engagement marketing, marketing automation, and web analytics
  • Must have a deep understanding of how to utilize email marketing to drive a business, how to prepare for and react to change and how to provide leadership with information and recommendations needed to make smart, fast decisions
  • Subject matter expert in email marketing, marketing automation, & building brand, engagement or loyalty programs
  • Experience managing a team
  • Excellent writer and communicator
  • Ability to build email content using HTML and CSS
  • Experience designing and implementing A/B and multivariate tests
  • Bachelor’s degree required
