ABOUT THE ROLE
At ShopRunner, a Product Manager is effectively CEO of their area, doing what it takes to invent and ship new experiences that our members love.
We are looking for a driven and creative product leader to grow and evolve the value propositions of our consumer-facing properties -- ShopRunner.com and the ShopRunner mobile apps. The role will involve deeply understanding customer behaviors as they relate to these properties, as well as prototyping new experiences with the intention of driving a material number of incremental transactions from these properties within the next year. Bonus points if you are an active online shopper!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assess customer behavior for the current consumer properties via site/app metrics, user surveys and focus groups
- Ideate, prototype, execute and measure new features and experiences on ShopRunner.com and the ShopRunner mobile app
- Drive acquisition to these properties once a sufficiently proven value proposition has been identified
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience developing and launching impactful consumer products
- In-depth practical knowledge of customer empathy techniques such as personas, user journey mapping and identifying jobs to be done
- Experience determining, inspiring and setting direction for a larger team
- Focus on data-driven decisions and extracting insights from product metrics
- Application of lean/agile product development methodologies -- identifying value, defining hypotheses, prototyping solutions and measuring experiments
- A champion of the customer experience, obsessed with all the details that lead to a polished and beautiful product
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with peers and senior management
- Entrepreneurial mindset and bias toward action
- 5+ years of strong product management experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering. MBA or Masters degree preferred
