 CSG’s Ascendon platform helps the world’s top media, entertainment & service providers engage directly with consumers to deliver digital services across a multitude of consumer experiences.  CCSGCIn this key strategic position, as Product Manager for Ascendon you will collaborate with clients and internal teams on the management of our Ascendon Digital Services Platform and have responsibility for owning the path to growth and defining and driving the future of the product.  We are seeking a passionate product leader capable of guiding the vision for the platform through a unique mix of entrepreneurship, technologist, strategy, and financial capabilities. In addition, applicants should possess strong leadership skills, expert collaboration capabilities, a strong knowledge of digital trends, and a passion for the emerging mobile device space.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Define a clear, differentiated, and compelling vision for key product areas, including defining a solution, product, technology, and economic value proposition
  • Understand customer segmentation, pain points and trends, define target segments and the strategic direction towards which CSG will develop solution and value proposition
  • Involved with product throughout all stages of the lifecycle (conception, definition, development, release, and post-release)
  • Gather data on new product ideas and evaluate them for financial and market potential. Work with development on new products and current product enhancements.
  • Conduct market research and apply expertise to support product vision and strategic direction of the Ascendon product roadmap
  • Ensure achievement of key strategic revenue and financial objectives
  • Act as a subject matter expert for supported Ascendon products. Lead resource for educating and answering questions to internal teams, presenting on functionality and capabilities to external clients
  • Act as a primary liaison with development organization to plan, track and manage product-led development initiatives
  • Coordinate and interact with vendors to understand new features or feature changes that affect Ascendon products

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferred in Business, Computer Science or a related field
  • Master’s in Business Administration or other relevant area desirable
  • 3+ years of experience working with in the following product areas:  billing applications, digital services, customer care, and omni-channel experiences.
  • Strong domain knowledge of business support systems (BSS) a plus
  • Experience working in a product management organization is highly desirable
  • Effective written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Strong business analysis skills to assess challenges, issues, constraints, and develop solutions
  • Excellent problem solving and analytic skills
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 40%
