Senior Consultant Quality Assurance Analyst (Job Code: TO-SQA-0617). Working on large-scale, custom-designed, enterprise-level software development projects that use object-oriented technologies, such as Java, Ruby, or .NET. Analysis, development and testing on full life-cycle software development projects using Agile methodologies, including Extreme Programming, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development and pair programming. Automation test frameworks, including writing unit, functional and integration tests. Plan automation test strategies by analyzing business requirements and design specifications. Investigate, assemble and maintain system test data. The project team may be distributed and require coordination across countries and time zones. Coach and mentor developers on Agile Best Practices and various languages and technologies. The position will also utilize technologies such as Rails, JavaScript, Cucumber and Selenium.

Education and experience requirements: position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or a related field, and 3 years of experience in a related IT occupation. The position also requires experience with testing custom-designed, object-oriented software applications using Java, Ruby, Rails, and Cucumber; working on full life-cycle software solutions including analysis, development and testing; using Agile methodologies, including Extreme Programming, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development and pair programming; writing test plans, test objectives and test cases for manual, regression and automated testing; writing unit, functional and integration tests; planning automation test strategies by analyzing business requirements and design specifications; investigating, assembling and maintaining system test data; working on Distributed Agile teams across countries and time zones; coaching and mentoring developers on Agile Best Practices and various languages and testing tools; utilizing Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG testing tools. Position is located in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Position also requires at least 80% of travel throughout the U.S.
