What you’ll do all day:

• Develop innovative trading tools. Our technology is the lifeblood of our business. You’ll work directly with the end-user from concept to delivery to design and develop sophisticated proprietary tools including, but not limited to, those used for trading, risk management, execution & marketing making, pricing, master data and clearing.
• Work on large, distributed high-performance systems. You’ll get hands-on experience with sophisticated technology, working with a diverse set of code – developing in Java, C++, Python, Go, Erlang, JavaScript/HTML.
• See your work in action. Our time-to-market ensures you’ll get to develop tools for regular release, continually push out new products, and see your end-user benefit from your work.

The skills you’ll need to succeed:

• Strong knowledge of Java or another object oriented language 
• Experience building multi-threaded systems
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux based systems
• Experience with open source tech like Postgres, Redis, MongoDB, hdf5, OpenHFT, Chronicle
• Knowledge of high throughput messaging systems a plus
• Experience in trading or related environments strongly preferred
