Senior UI Designer

The Creative Services Group at Impact is seeking a Senior UI Designer.  This person will be instrumental in driving the design for interactive projects from concept through launch.  Working within a team of designers, content producers and programmers, you will be responsible for delivering user interface design systems under the direction of the Creative Director. Our team works hard to create beautifully detailed user experiences for a variety of small to mid-sized companies.  We have a very collaborative and invigorating work environment where we challenge each other to do great work. You must feel comfortable working independently to explore, problem solve and detail UX at both a single page and a system level.  Your skill set should include the ability to interact with clients, present concepts, and work with a team of programmers.  Wireframing, Adobe CC and HTML/CSS editors are your tools.

Impact is a privately held company with 180 employees and 2014 revenues of $45 million. The Creative Services Group is an efficient and stealthy team at our Fulton Market Design and Implementation Center that focuses on branding, online user experience and marketing, and public/private/mobile web site design and development. We do this for Impact and our clients.

What you'll be working on

• Design branding, online marketing, web sites for small to mid sized companies in a variety of sectors
• Create innovative designs built for desktop, tablet, mobile phones
• Wireframe and prototype your concepts
• Creating the necessary graphic components to complete highest quality, detailed interfaces

Your experience and capabilities

• Passionate about good design and new technology
• Creative, innovative and strategic thinker
• Respectful of fundamental design principals and methodologies
• Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 3+ years work experience in a web design group
• Strong UX/UI design understanding and experience
• Exceptional design portfolio with 85% web and 15% print
• Expert Adobe CC user
• Knowledge and comfort with HTML5, CSS
• Solid wireframing skills
• Ability to convey concepts and articulate design approaches to clients
• Team player, comfortable with collaboration and critique
