Responsibilities:

  • Create high-fidelity mood boards, style tiles, compositions, and digital style guides
  • Produce meticulous, beautiful user interface designs that take into account client brand guidelines and specifications (websites, mobile applications, email, etc.)
  • Present design decisions to the internal and client teams and iterate and implement feedback
  • Work in tandem with multiple Experience designers and developers to ensure all functionality and design is meeting client and internal expectations
  • Participate in regular design critiques to keep design skills sharp
  • Create clean and professional presentation decks for client review
  • Juggle multiple projects and clients simultaneously
  • Prototype complex interactions with high standards of usability in mind

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a design-related position; agency experience required
  • B.A. in graphic design, visual communication, or other design-related field
  • Impeccable understanding of typography, layout, color, and all other elements of design
  • Adobe design tools, including Photoshop and Illustrator experience
  • Above average experience with HTML, CSS, and responsive web design techniques
  • The ability to take static designs and implement them using HTML5 and CSS3
  • Experience designing around data sets and reusable patterns
  • Experience with responsive front end frameworks (Foundation, Twitter Bootstrap)
  • Understand quality assurance and testing
  • Working knowledge of Sketch
  • Experience in Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics programs
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Backbone, Angular)
  • Experience working with Back-End Developers on WordPress, Drupal, Magento, Ruby on Rails
  • Comfortable with git for source code management and using browser developer tools for "in browser" design tweaks (Chrome DevTools, Firebug)
  • iOS and Android HIG (Human Interface Guidelines)
  • Familiar with task runners (Grunt or Gulp)

The Bounteous flagship collaboration center is located in the heart of Ravenswood. This neighborhood is a stone's throw away from Wrigley Field, microbreweries, and boutiques. Our strategically-located global collaboration centers support hybrid team members while building face-to-face connections.

What are some social events your company does?

My favorite events include a Summer in Winter themed party we held at the Studio, Peak, Peach and remotely all simultaneously. Those attending remotely, zoomed in with festive attire we sent in packages that included drinks/food/favors we had them on the big screen TV so they can view everyone and participate in games.
