We are looking for a Software Developer to perform in a technical service capacity, as we expand the Client Services Team in our Chicago office. This person is key in resolving technical issues and implementing client-specific requests. This is NOT a help-desk or pure coding position. This is a challenging environment for someone who is ready to take their career to the next level!
Your Responsibilities:
- Interface with our client’s technical team to answer platform-related integration questions.
- Implement custom projects to meet our client requirements.
- Interface with Client managers on a day-to-day basis on the following topics:
- Licensing / Keys
- API services and functionalities
- Dynamic Email Campaigns
- Ecommerce system integrations
- Subscription Billing Cycle
- Custom Reporting
- Troubleshoot problems that arise.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years’ generating SQL statements (including Oracle and SQL Server dialects)
- 1-3 years’ experience with JavaScript and .js frameworks (jQuery, etc.)
- 2-3 years’ experience with scripting languages such as PHP and Perl
- 3-5 years’ experience with XML, XSLT, APIs and Web Services (SOAP or JSON)
- Excellent analytical and development skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate technical details to both technical and non-technical people
- Advanced knowledge in SQL and API programming
- C# / .NET Framework
- General understanding of front-end technologies such as CSS, and JavaScript libraries.
