What you’ll do all day:

• (Initially) Attend high-impact trading & options training. No experience in financial markets? No problem. You will sit through an accelerated program that will teach you the business of options trading and get you ready to build successful low-latency, high-throughput trading software.
• You’ll develop innovative tools. You’ll develop innovative tools. Our technology is the lifeblood of our business. It’s your chance to leverage and hone your skills developing a variety of critical, real-world applications that support a range of PEAK6 businesses—trading and beyond.
• Collaborate and share ideas. The floor is always open for great ideas. We love to collaborate, get different perspectives, and develop concepts. Teamwork is a staple in PEAK6 culture – strong opinions about insightful ideas are always welcome. It’s what makes our team so successful.
• Work with a variety of languages and technologies. You’ll get real experience working with large distributed, high-performance systems developing in Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/HTML, and React. You’ll also get exposure to database systems like MS SQLServer, Postgres, Redis, and MongoDB.
