At Belly we are building a massive, scalable and highly available platform to enable our products and partners.

Our platform is a collection of many single concern RESTful web services written in Ruby around Napa (extended from Grape). Our platform encapsulates all our business logic and is the driving force for innovation and iteration around our products. We are looking for highly proficient software engineers who are passionate about creating elegant solutions to complicated problems.

You likely have a varied and interesting background, but your experiences should include:

• Exceptional ability to write clean, readable, performant and secure code
• Strong knowledge of computer science principles
• Working in highly performant and collaborative teams
• Constructive debates about the right solution to problems and not the quickest
• Performance testing and optimization of your code and dependent systems
• Monitoring your application to ensure it is available and performant
• Performing QA on your own work and writing automated tests
• Caring deeply about the products which consume your services
