Job Description

STATS is looking to hire a Sports Data Specialist.  We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and posseseses an exceptionally high level of attention to detail.

Duties include assisting with detailed video analysis, logging player participation data, editing scouting reports, and helping with everyday duties of our Data Collection team. You should possess extensive sports knowledge and excellent oral and written communication skills. College or professional playing experience is a big plus.

This position requires between 25-30 hours per week and is paid out at $13/hour. Night and weekend shifts are required. This position is not seasonal, and covers a wide array of sporting events. Work may be enhanced with à la carte Reporter opportunities at the discretion of both the employee and STATS - employees often add an additional 20+ hours of optional game scoring assignments per week, particularly during the football season. 

Skills & Requirements
  • A wealth of knowledge in either:
    • The NFL and NCAA Football
    • Baseball, particularly pitch type recognition
  • Ability to work up to 25-30 hours/week
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Demonstrated success in meeting deadlines and working in a progressive environment
  • Above average typing skills
