MAIN COURSE (Job Responsibilities):

Looking for engaging solution makers and storytellers who are intellectual curious, creative, open and enthusiastic to change. Ideal candidate is passionate about food, eager to roll up their sleeves, comfortable with "gray area" and leading others from "gray" to black and white. Holistic thinkers & doers welcome-those who like to generate new ideas and drive action to bring them to life with influence & impact.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Overall: Leadership of designated houseware categories and new solution platforms: Develops 3 year road map of product pipelines and translation to business targets.
  • Project Management: Leads respective project cross functional teams through project conceptions-"fuzzy" front end of innovation process & supports Project Managers through executional phases
  • Concept Development: Partners with insights, product development, and Food & Trend innovators to identify insights and unmet consumer needs and translates into holistic consumer solutions (products, recipes, tips)
  • Strategy & Business Case: Leads business strategy and P&L for respective projects, showcasing ability to think strategically, anticipate future trends and brings new ideas and thinking to platform & category strategies
  • Partners with Field/Sales and Marketing teams to support initiatives in market and ensure success

Reports to Senior Director-Innovation and General Management, Food & Trend Innovation

KEY INGREDIENTS (Position Requirements):
  • 7+ years experience in brand management, marketing, or consumer products. Less than 7 years acceptable for candidates showing strong proven success record in product development function. 
  • BS in Marketing, Business, Communication, Social Sciences or related field required.  MBA Preferred
  • Direct Sales Experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of strong analytical &  strategic thinking skills
  • Proven track record of project management & ability to lead multiple projects innovation and base business projects
  • Passionate about the culinary space and experience in bringing diverse and relevant trends inside and amalgamating into development strategies.
  • Exception storytelling skills-both written and verbal communication
  • Track record of relationship building
  • Experience in category and product management, in “fuzzy front end” phase
  • Experience in agile development through concept ideation/iteration and rapid prototyping
  • Ability to travel (domestic~ 15-20% & international 5%) and drive car
