Description:

The Senior Financial Analyst, Client Pricing is responsible for the overall analysis, reporting, and execution of the companies’ pricing strategies. Specific duties include developing, understanding and interpreting pricing models for existing clients as well as new prospective clients; evaluating client profitability, and supporting legal team in contract negotiations. This position will also be involved in critical process improvement projects and ad hoc analysis requests.

 

Responsibilities:

    • Partner with client team and new business leads to influence and recommend profitable and competitive client pricing for all existing and new business, including scenario modeling, understanding all components of scope/engagement, market conditions, and effective resource management
    • Evaluating and understanding the impact of pricing on profit margins
    • Develop/review policies, procedures, and processes for pricing
    • Perform margin and pricing analysis in order to support business initiatives
    • Identify opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through pricing strategies
    • Coordinate and participate with legal team in contract negotiations
    • Provide recommendations to solve identified business issues and proactively implement solutions
    • Support client team executives and provide assistance/analysis with financial reporting needs and ad hoc requests
  • Review and analyze financial performance against initial proposed compensation model
  • Ability to explain and translate financial reports/documents to team members
  • Show judgment on when to elevate issues/requests and when to resolve independently Minimum Qualifications:

 

  •  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in a Finance or Accounting position.
  • High competency level in MS Office with specific strength in Excel
  • Experience with SAP and Oracle/Hyperion a plus
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Relationship building beyond the finance capability and interaction with cross-functional colleagues is a key component of the position
  • Must be able to suggest and create overall efficiencies in their workflow that will benefit their team, department and our clients.
  • Demonstrate initiative, responsibility and follow through for “owned” work
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Accountability and flexibility
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
