Responsibilities:

• Involved with architectural direction for data center, corporate, and remote office networks
• Lead projects and provide recommendations for modern DCI (Data Center Interconnect) solutions
• Create and enforce best practices across network infrastructure
• Recognize and recommend new equipment or services to solve network challenges
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve complex problems
• Provide tier 2 support to Operations in a 24x7 on call environment
• Manage Cisco Nexus routers and switches, Cisco ASAs, Palo Alto firewalls, and F5 load-balancers
• Manage Cisco wireless infrastructure
• Work closely with other Engineering and Operations teams to ensure fast deployment, recovery, and remediation
• Deploy and manage network-monitoring solutions

You’re right for this job if you:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Have 5 + years of Network administration
• Have a deep understanding of technologies such as VDC, VPC, OTV, and VXLAN
• Have a deep understanding of Layer 3 protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF
• Understand Layer 2 concepts
• Have experience managing wireless infrastructure
• Have experience designing, deploying, and managing data center networks
• Have extensive troubleshooting experience utilizing packet-capturing tools
• Have web application experience and understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols
• Have experience in a high availability, scalable environment that spans multiple locations
• Are passionate about expanding personal knowledge and staying on top of the cutting edge of technology
