We are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Platform to join the Leapfrog Online team. If you have expertise in software platforms or technical products – great! If any of those products were in the digital marketing realm – even better! This role is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to dive in and make a meaningful and substantial impact to Leapfrog and our clients.

The right candidate is someone passionate about marketing and technology, fun to work with, and will bring drive and commitment to creating great technical marketing products, executing their product vision through a cross-functional environment and building a culture of success.

Responsibilities:

As the Senior Product Manager, Platform you will truly be the champion of your product vision:

  • Partnering with stakeholders (and leadership) to distill detailed product roadmap, as well as working with the Product Team to align that roadmap to overall platform objectives
  • Requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation; development and analysis, traceability through product
  • Product ownership in an Agile environment, coordinating with teams cross-functionally, including engineering, to deliver and ensure quality of product
  • Evangelizing product solutions both internally and externally, building business cases and ROI models for product delivery
  • Analyzing and refine product cost  / ROI models (for specific implementations)
  • Developing training materials; training users
  • Conducting research into current and emerging technologies and issues in support of business/e-commerce/operations efforts; providing product, customer, market, and competitive trend analysis to identify opportunities and challenges; translating these into product strategies/ recommendations
  • Tracking status, negotiating deadlines, proactively communicating and collaborating throughout product development from conception to realization

Who you are:

  • You have 5+ years experience developing or managing high-tech products; web applications, backend services, big data, digital marketing, with user-facing applications is strongly desired.
  • You have worked with engineers and software design teams and are comfortable integrating business context with technical solutions.
  • You understand and have familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, web servers, as well as design patterns, content management tools and other marketing tools.
  • You have the ability to collaborate, negotiate and work effectively across cross-functional teams working under various managers with competing priorities.
  • You take pride in your ability to facilitate collaboration-inducing, efficient meetings with actionable takeaways.
  • You thrive when given high degree of freedom to independently drive solutions, utilizing your love of problem solving with your keen business acumen to create value for your clients.
  • You think at multiple levels: able to get in the details, but also to produce executive communications.
  • You have a passion for investigation and problem-solving, conducting research on competitive alternatives, strengths and weaknesses.
  • You always want to be up to date in your field - conducting market research to support your business case and performing vendor verification.
