As a Staff Accountant at Vail Systems your primary responsibilities will be to manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable for Vail and its subsidiaries.

Job Summary/Scope
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a range of general accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting along with relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
As a Staff Accountant at Vail Systems you will be expected to:
- Prepare monthly invoicing of customers
- Manage cash disbursements and payables
- Manage cash receipts and receivables
- Post inter-company transactions
- Assist with month-end closing
- Assist with year-end activities including 1099 reporting
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
- Develop ad hoc financial and operational reports as needed
- Perform certain contract administration activities
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel
- Ability to perform mathematical computations quickly and accurately
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
