About the Role

As the Strategic Account Director, you are responsible for protecting and growing revenue in assigned accounts by ensuring Eved's clients maximize the value they receive from our collaborative procurement platform for the meeting and event category. In this role, you will be responsible for exceeding clients’ expectations with regard to to solution adoption, quality of delivery, user support and supplier value. You will develop strong relationships with your clients utilizing a consultative approach. At Eved, each strategic account is supported by a dedicated team that includes you, (the leader of the team), an adoption manager, Help Desk support, supplier on-boarding specialist, product manager and developer. The Strategic Account Director will ensure that the team resources are deployed effectively and you will have overall accountability for the P&L of that account.

  

Scope and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic management of assigned accounts, starting when Sales closes the contract with that client, advocating Eved stewardship and client service principals and building long-term relationships with client organizations
  • Tactical management of client accounts including identifying and meeting client needs by presenting client solutions, promoting and maximizing use of appropriate Eved functionality and assisting in closing new business with clients
  • Develop and execute against the account plan for each client
  • Achieve and exceed all goals and KPIs related to implementation, adoption, training, support and supplier relations for that account
  • Achieve revenue growth targets
  • Motivate and lead direct and indirect reports to execute effectively against the account plan
  • Set annual goals and objectives of direct and indirect reports and provide proactive coaching and mentoring to help accomplish 

Experience:

  • 5+ years relevant experience in strategic client management and managing client teams for B2B customers of technology solutions
  • Bachelor degree required
  • Experience defining client objectives and developing and executing on plans that meet or exceed those objectives
  • Proven track record of consistently hitting revenue, growth and client retention goals
  • Analytical thinker who can make swift decisions, adapt to changes while staying the course and deliver results
  • Excellent people management skills, with experience managing though influence as well as through direct reports
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
  • Proven ability to measure success against defined criteria and objectives as well as proactively seeking out customer needs
  • Ability to work closely with sales team, clients and technology associates to solve problems and identify solutions and improvements  
  • Effective time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time
  • Understand the demands of a private, emerging growth company and work with a smart, passionate, innovative team of entrepreneurs
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Salesforce CRM, project management and help desk software (e.g. Desk, Jira)
