GoHealth is looking for a sales-driven professional with large account management experience and a proven track-record of hitting aggressive revenue targets. The Strategic Accounts Manager will be the business lead and hold revenue responsibility for a number of GoHealth’s largest accounts. GoHealth provides a number of enrollment solutions for health insurance companies, including sales outsourcing, enterprise technology development, and private exchanges. This person will provide leadership towards maximum profitability and growth of client business in line with our company’s vision and values.
The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for regular interactions and face to face meetings with executives from major health insurance companies. Additionally, they will be managing between one to three Carrier Account Executives, who will provide assistance in coordinating the on-boarding, management, and growth of accounts for the Carrier Business Unit.
Responsibilities
- Achieve aggressive quarterly revenue targets by maximizing account growth and identifying new sales opportunities
- Develop entrenched relationships within partner insurance companies
- Drive efficiency and hit sales goals associated with our technology platforms and call center BPO teams
- Manage complex sales cycles and coordinate regular interactions with executive leadership teams of our carrier partners
- Generate proposals, RFP responses, and created value propositions for potential clients
- Provide revenue forecasts for executive leadership
- Work closely with the entire Carrier Business Unit to drive the customer relationship and align business strategy at all levels of the organization
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and the GoHealth technology team
- Provide industry expertise and solution issues for client to maximize efficiency and results
- Manage a team of one to three Account Executives
- 5+ years of experience in high value client account management, consulting, or sales
- Prior experience and knowledge dealing with health care accounts
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to problem solve and diffuse situations
- Prior experience interacting with executive leadership of large organizations
- Motivated and passionate individual with leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of meeting high-value quota targets in previous roles
- Tech-savvy, with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and project management skills
- Experience within the health insurance industry or a call center environment preferred
