As a Strategic Analytics Specialist you will drive operational success through reporting, data analytics, and insight. The tasks you will be assigned with will vary daily – from tracking the weather, pulling data for invoices and assisting with service reports. As a Strategic Analytics Specialist you will work with excel and similar programs to analyze data and report back to the team based on your findings. The Strategic Analytics Specialist is a big picture strategy position where you are able to give recommendations for the business based on the data you have uncovered.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide data analytics on account and division performance
• Run and analyze reports in our proprietary database to help our operations department make decisions regarding our clients/affiliates
• Survey clients on pricing and set up pricing models based on city, state, etc.  
• Serve as the point person between operations and our clients/affiliates to ensure all parties have the data and information they need for a productive relationship
• Provide accurate and timely reporting to all necessary parties
• Logistical planning based on current and future growth
• Develop innovative process designs for our work flow
• Will be responsible for finding trends in our business process and developing best practice strategies in order to make improvements

• Very strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Ability to quickly see trends in data 
• Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Flexibility, adaptability and ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• The ability to “think out of the box” is a must
• Ability to develop relationships with internal and external clients 
• Resourceful

Education and Experience

• Undergraduate degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics preferred)
• 1 – 3 years of work/analytical experience
• Experience using Python is a must
• Coding background (VBA) is a plus
• Traits: attention to detail, ability to work under pressure
