What You'll Do:
As a Strategy & Operations Associate, you’ll support our Head of Operations. You must have mix of strong business and problem-solving skills. This is a cross-functional role working across teams throughout the organization.
You will support multiple projects simultaneously, need to be self-motivated, and need to enjoy solving hard problems. This is a highly visible role and critical to Uptake's success, and you’ll have the opportunity to grow rapidly in this role and gain senior executive exposure across a variety of industries.
You will coordinate with the Mission Leads who represent various industry verticals as well as with internal stake holders including Data Science, Technology, and Icon Partners to create and execute SaaS solutions and products quickly.
You will work with Sales to prioritize and methodically structure a go-to-market plan and will investigate and pinpoint ways to improve current processes and will formalize current ad-hoc processes, etc. You will help find the right balance between entrepreneurial spirit and organized/healthy flexibility.
You will also work with the FP&A team, the Legal Team, the People/HR team, etc and other teams that report into the Head of Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Identify ways to improve current processes and formalize current ad-hoc processes
- Take on special projects on an as-needed basis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a top university
- 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience in either operations or management consulting or technology-focused investment banking
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical ability along with excellent business judgment
- Experience interacting with senior audiences and executives
- Strong project management skills, including a proven ability to think through all aspects of the process, manage long-term projects and multitask
- Driven self-starter with a passion for excellence and an ability to work under minimal supervision
- Superb interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build relationships successfully across teams
