 The Supply Strategy and Analytics Manager will support the Services business at Groupon by driving decision making through insights and testing. This person will also lead cross-functional coordination matrix management and product management efforts to drive the business. Key focus areas include supply acquisition, optimization, and retention. Responsibilities across these focus areas include developing product plans to optimize supply, guiding development for key levers and tests, identifying and driving execution against improvement opportunities, and using data to guide key product decisions. The Supply Strategy and Analytics Manager will be required to drive cross-functional decision-making and initiative prioritization while also providing objective, data-driven insights to guide short-term and long-term decisions for the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively uncover meaningful supply optimization insights not specifically directed by others

  • Leverage analytics for business optimization

  • Develop product feature and experimentation recommendations via data analysis

  • Quantify the value of proposed product features and enhancements

  • Drive cross-functional partners to prioritize key projects and initiatives that align with data-driven recommendations

  • Work with product management, engineering, and business teams to develop adequate proactive monitoring for key optimization areas

  • Provide insights that aid near term and long term decision-making for the businesses

  • Deliver data-driven recommendations to senior leadership team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Math or similar; graduate degree recommended

  • 5+ years of experience working closely with cross-functional teams - ideally, product, marketing, and/or engineering

  • Knowledge of eCommerce customer flows and experience with A/B and/or multivariate testing processes and methodologies

  • Ability to leverage creativity to solve problems and use quantitative/qualitative skills to deliver simple, logical recommendations and drive cross-functional business decisions

  • Experience with data visualization and presentation - preferably proficient Tableau, or similar tools

  • Advanced Excel and intermediate SQL skills

  • Very strong communication skills - both written and verbal

  • Excited by working with data and analytics to deliver data-driven, business-optimization recommendations

  • Self-starter, fast learner, adaptive to fast-paced working environment,
