Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise level technical support to our customers. You will be providing support via phone, web, email, chat and other channels as required. If you have a background in engineering or IT support and you're already intrigued, here's more aspects of the role.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution
  • On daily basis, research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
  • Follow standard procedures for proper progression of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
  • Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports (including gathering data, identifying trends, etc.)
  • Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles
  • Help with integrations

Qualifications and Skills

  • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 1+ yrs of L2 or development work experience in technical support, IT support or as a technical engineer (categorizing, assessing, diagnosing tickets)
  • Good knowledge of Java, Unix/Linux systems, utilities and scripting
  • You have working knowledge of REST
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
