System Technical Support

SMS Assist is looking for a mid to senior level system technical support. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, one with strong problem solving skills and attitude to customer satisfaction and a strong sense of responsibility about his/her position. You must be able to work full time and on site at our offices in Chicago, IL.
Core Responsibilities:
• Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems.
• Provides answers to clients by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding client through corrective steps.
• Improves client references by writing and maintaining documentation.
• Improves system performance by identifying problems; recommending changes.
Experience:
• Technical support experience is required.
• Problem solving, help desk experience, verbal communication, operating systems, phone skills, customer service, quality focus, PC proficiency, system administration.
• Able to work quickly and efficiently with a strong focus on achieving tasks.
• Proficient in soft skills.
Education:
• Undergraduate degree in Information Technology / Information System / Computer Science preferred.
