Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Job
You will be an ambassador of AVIA to candidates for leadership positions as they progress through the interview process. You will manage all aspects of scheduling phone and on-site interviews. As a core member of the Operations Team, you will also interact and develop relationships with current AVIA leadership.
Once seasoned, you will have the development opportunity to take on more responsibilities for the talent acquisition process, including ownership of each step of the process for some roles- identifying candidates, phone screening, interviewing and involvement in closing/ hiring.
How you’ll make an impact:
  • Oversee detailed calendar management and manage scheduling all candidate interviews
  • Ability to coordinate all specifics related to an on-site interview including itinerary preparation, creating a positive experience (meeting space, breakfast / lunch as necessary, effective use of time)
  • Must be able to build relationships and interface effectively with the AVIA leadership and interview team in person and via email
  • Manage and update client and candidate information in database
  • Assist with on demand reports related to recruitment activity
  • Screen, prepare, and sort resumes
  • Conduct effective research (referrals, online tools) to identify potential candidates
Skills / Experience Needed:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years in executive search, recruiting or equivalent healthcare experience
  • Ability to effectively manage projects and strategize accordingly; prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in fast paced environment
  • Able to handle a heavy workload and work independently
  • High level of detail and accuracy is required
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and database management
