CityBase creates technology to make government more personal and responsive. We work with municipalities, agencies, and utilities to integrate their business processes and citizen interactions onto a central, cloud-based platform accessible through multiple channels, including web, mobile, kiosk, and point-of-sale.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who is excited to join a fast-growing technology start-up in Chicago. As the Talent Coordinator, you will help increase our build our talent pipeline, create relationships inside and outside of CityBase and help build our People function. This person reports to the Talent & HR Manager. You are someone who is ready to roll-up-you-sleeves, self-motivated and creative.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule all interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Assist with managing full lifecycle recruiting for specific open roles
  • Processing and reviewing candidate background checks
  • Assists with candidate offer letter preparation
  • Prepare and post new jobs to Greenhouse and all other job boards as necessary
  • Help create a new hire onboarding process for CityBase Employees
    • Manage overall onboarding process
    • Prepare all necessary documents prior to new hire arrivals
    • Conduct New Hire Orientation
    • Create content for onboarding for all benefits with payroll
  • Verify and maintains I-9 documentations
  • Assists with processing of terminations
  • Maintains human resource information system (HRIS) records and compiles reports from the database as needed.
  • Attend job fairs, conferences and other networking events as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • 2+ years of HR experience including benefits, payroll, and HR systems
  • Technical recruiting experience a plus
  • Experience working with ATS systems
  • Working knowledge in federal / state benefits regulations and legislation
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Technical recruiting experience a plus
  • Be a cool person
