Talent Sourcer
We are looking for an experienced Talent Sourcer to join our team. You have a background doing research and the idea of going “down the rabbit hole” on a search gets you excited. You enjoy finding patterns and being a support for the Talent Team. You should be both data-driven and human. Most of your time will be spent sourcing for and supporting our engineering team, so familiarity and comfort with development technologies will go a long way to making you successful. You will be working alongside the rest of the Talent Team to ensure hiring, onboarding, and development of team members is unparalleled, and generally contributing to Sprout being an exceptional employer.
Responsibilities
- Find and engage exceptional talent to join Sprout Social, fill our talent pipeline with qualified candidates, and seamlessly integrate with the rest of the Talent Team to hire the best of the best
- Leverage data to make our recruiting and ATS implementation unparalleled
- Use various tools (LinkedIn, Github, Dribbble, Stack Overflow, etc) to develop a quick and accurate idea of someone’s background and whether they may be a fit at Sprout
- Identify new pockets of talent in Chicago and across the nation, and then strategize and execute on connecting with them (conferences, meetups, groups, etc)
- Strive to understand as much as you can about the culture, products, teams and projects of Sprout to creatively source and support a variety of searches
- Build and manage a strong, qualified pipeline for multiple roles simultaneously
- Conduct informative interviews with candidates where the candidate leaves with a strong, clear impression of Sprout, and you leave with a solid understanding of the candidate and their potential fit with the team
- Discover and utilize new tools to make you and our team better at sourcing
Desired Skills & Experience
- 2-4 years total experience with 2+ years experience in technical sourcing and/or recruiting working in a high volume recruiting environment
- Deep understanding of creative sourcing strategies and tools to engage and excite passive candidates
- Strong business and technical acumen, with interpersonal, communication and consultative skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively
- Passionate about ensuring that each candidate who interviews at Sprout has a unique and positive experience
- Experience making an ATS work for you
- Bonus: experience with Jazz, Stack Overflow, Github, Dribbble, etc
- Bonus: understand the basics of agile development principles, engineering functions, and current trends in technology
