We are looking for an experienced Talent Sourcer to join our team. You are an expert matchmaker. You thrive on hunting for the right candidate and matching them with the perfect career opportunity. You will have a “services” mentality on the Talent Team - when there is an extra tough search, you are the additional firepower to get things done. This means you will normally support Sales and Engineering searches, but you aren’t afraid of roles in other departments. You are comfortable with both researching as well as sitting down for coffee with a great candidate. You should be both data-driven and human. You will be working alongside the rest of the Talent Team to ensure hiring, onboarding, and development of team members is unparalleled, and generally contributing to Sprout being an exceptional employer.

Responsibilities

  • Find and engage exceptional talent to join Sprout Social, fill our talent pipeline with qualified candidates, and seamlessly integrate with the rest of the Talent Team to hire the best of the best
  • Leverage data to build a sourcing ecosystem that delivers exceptional talent
  • Use various tools (LinkedIn, Github, Dribbble, Stack Overflow, etc) to develop a quick and accurate idea of someone’s background and whether they may be a fit at Sprout
  • Identify new pockets of talent in Chicago and across the nation, and then strategize on how to connect with them (conferences, meetups, coffees, etc)
  • Strive to understand as much as you can about the culture, products, teams, and projects of Sprout to creatively source and support a variety of searches
  • Build and manage a strong, qualified pipeline for multiple roles simultaneously (with specific focus on Sales and Engineering searches)
  • Conduct informative interviews with candidates where the candidate leaves with a strong, clear impression of Sprout, and you leave with a solid understanding of the candidate and their potential fit with the team
  • Discover and utilize new tools to make you and our team better at sourcing

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 2-4 years total work experience with 2+ years experience in sales or technical sourcing and/or recruiting in a high volume environment for sales or technical talent
  • Alternative experience in business or sales development could be a good fit as well
  • Background in proven sourcing tactics - Boolean or related certifications
  • Experience or exposure to effective diversity recruiting tactics
  • Deep understanding of creative sourcing strategies and tools to engage and excite passive candidates
  • Strong business acumen, interpersonal and consultative skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively
  • Passionate about ensuring that each candidate who interviews at Sprout has a unique and positive experience
  • Experience making an ATS work for you
  • Bonus: experience with Jazz, Stack Overflow, Github, Dribbble, etc
  • Bonus: understand the basics of agile development principles, engineering functions, and current trends in technology
