We are looking for a Technology Operations (Tech Ops) Specialist to join our new digital team and assist the Director of Digital Products in laying the groundwork for an agile and scalable digital organization. The Tech Ops Specialist will be a critical component in this process and has the opportunity to make his/her mark on an exciting technology future at Guerrero Howe.

 

This individual will be challenged to take and maintain on an active role in continuously removing any and all obstacles in our pursuit of customer satisfaction and sales success. S/he will be responsible for supporting all employee-facing infrastructure, as well as creating and owning the related documentation and processes.

 

 

Responsibilities:

·      Handle projects related to building, improving, and maintaining the digital organization

·      Educate employees on technical tools, products, platforms & best practices.

·      Own the ongoing mapping and documentation for all technical assets

·      Be the champion for customers answering and resolving technical questions

·      Troubleshoot and diagnose day-to-day technical desktop and infrastructure support requests and escalate to applicable business unit if needed

·      Become the subject matter expert on all things IT

·      Support the Mac/Linux/PC office infrastructure

 

 

Requirements:

·      2-4 years of experience in providing IT support or technical troubleshooting

·      Experience with customer service/sales environment highly desired

·      Excellent interpersonal skills; communication, organization, and computer skills

·      Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, time-sensitive environment

·      Working knowledge of network and IT enterprise set-up and maintenance

·      Experience documenting and creating knowledge-base and training materials strongly desired.

 

Technical Skills - Required:

·      JIRA/JIRA Service Desk/Confluence or equivalent Technical Project Management systems administration and usage

·      Office 365 administration and troubleshooting

·      Working knowledge of Active Directory (AD)

·      Experience with networking set-up and administration

 

 

Technical Skills - Desired:

·      Working knowledge of HTTP request methods and security

·      Experience with VoIP phone system support

·      Experience with php/MySQL environments

·      Experience writing automated scripts in your preferred language

·      Experience setting up and maintaining databases

·      Experience with administering Single Sign On (SSO) environments

·      Experience with RESTful Webservices/API scripts highly desired
