Technical Product Manager at Uptake

What We Do:

Uptake harnesses the power of underutilized data to empower businesses to make informed decisions. We partner with industry leaders to build a predictive analytics software that grows smarter in one industry because of what we learn in another. The result is a powerful platform that identifies problems before they happen, ultimately saving money, time and lives.

Our team drives this success by connecting customers and partners to the value of the Internet of Things, business-centric architectures and new and emerging technologies.

What You'll Do:

As a Technical Product Manager, you’ll work on a cross-functional team to identify and drive initiatives that will help our platform evolve. You’ll work collaboratively across the Product Development organization to ensure the delivery of performant, reusable, enterprise-grade products. You’ll draw on your technical background to align the needs of customers and end users and help to develop a product that solves real business problems.

  • Analyze data to measure impact of delivered software and guide improvements
  • Lead the discovery of new software products that solve complex client problems
  • Articulate value and prioritization rationale across the organizational and client spectrum, to those with technology experience ranging from the occasional user to the principal architect to the C-Suite

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in product management, with an engineering and development background a strong plus
  • Ability to see the “big picture” for a software product and use strategic thinking
  • Comfortable making real-time autonomous decisions when conditions change, based on understanding of the user context, business objectives and client needs
  • Demonstrated record of success in defining strategic product roadmaps, as well as inventing and launching successful features
  • Fluency with business strategy, user-centered design, service design, and collaborative execution paradigms (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and project management skills
  • Ambitious self-starter with a passion for making technology enterprise-ready
  • Execution oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced, loosely structured environment

Preferred skills:

  • Working knowledge of:
