THE ROLE:

This role will support development and maintenance of our client Help Center as well as other technical documentation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary objective for the technical writer is to assist in writing and publishing documentation for our client help center. The help center includes articles, user guides, and other resources for internal and external audiences. The Technical Writer will work with the Product, Marketing and Edu stakeholders to accurately document current and new product functionality.

An exceptional attention to detail is necessary. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Resourcefulness and the ability to follow through on commitments with minimal supervision are required. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, will be receptive to detailed feedback, and be equally comfortable working independently.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong analytical skills to test and accurately document functionality.
• Experience with technical or educational script writing.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office suite and Sharepoint.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workflows at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
• Experience building articles using Zendesk Knowledge Base a plus.

This is a 6 month contract and will include approximately 20 hours per month.
