What you’ll do:
Hundreds of thousands of trades per day. That’s what we do. We hire the strongest quantitative minds to develop and optimize our trading strategies. As we expand our trading initiatives, our Trading Recruiting Team is charged with finding, attracting, and hiring this talent into new and niche roles in a highly competitive market. As a Recruiter on our team, you will be responsible for partnering with Hiring Managers across the firm to source and hire experienced traders and business support professionals.

It is our goal to make Optiver a choice destination for top candidates and this role is critical to our success. Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Partner with Hiring Managers to understand business goals in order to define hiring needs, as well as design targeted candidate profiles and effective interview processes
  • Develop and implement creative searching sourcing strategies to identify top talent for unique roles in a competitive candidate market
  • Design, build, and continuously improve recruitment processes to ensure we are identifying top talent, facilitating effective and calibrated interview processes, and providing a world-class candidate experience
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process for traders and business support professionals, including reviewing resumes or applications, conducting interviews, and facilitating the offer process
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date reports on candidate pipelines and identify meaningful insights

What you’ll need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting, with a minimum of 1-2 years in financial services
  • Familiarity with Taleo TBE or similar applicant tracking systems
  • Proven track record of building strong credibility across key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated results-driven performance in a team centric environment
  • Experience designing and implementing projects 
  • Excellent talent assessment and candidate management skills 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
