PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

The Traffic Manager at One North is responsible for ensuring the flow of timely and accurate information between internal teams, including Account, Digital Strategy, UX, Creative and Technology. A successful Traffic Manager is a resourceful, highly motivated individual who demonstrates the ability to seamlessly coordinate project staffing across multiple teams. The right candidate for this role will have a natural knack for organization and a demonstrated interest in all things Project Management. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise between the functional teams and account teams, ensuring ongoing communication and information sharing regarding project status and resource requirements.
  • Oversee the smooth, efficient flow of project status updates and scheduling.
  • Ensure that task-related information and instructions are delivered to project resources in a timely manner to keep the project on schedule.
  • Proactively notify all parties when work cannot start as scheduled, and work with teams to find alternate solutions.
  • Triage & facilitate resourcing conflicts, considering scheduling and budgeting requirements.
  • Review draft schedules and advise on resource availability for current and incoming projects to provide input on feasibility, based on current and planned workloads.
  • Review updated schedules with team members to ensure all milestones and deliverable dates are accounted for and reasonable.
  • Work with teams to facilitate timeline revisions as needed.
  • Advise on resource availability for incoming projects based on current and planned workloads.
  • Provide weekly reports on projects in progress.
  • Maintain and update centralized schedule for all active jobs and team members to ensure deadlines are met and resources are optimally scheduled.
  • Enter and update all project schedules into the scheduling system.
  • Conduct weekly resourcing meetings with the Technology, Account, Digital Strategy and Experience Design teams.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in an agency, consulting or similar environment with rapidly changing project needs
  • Project management experience is a must
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams with varying specialities
  • Strong personal accountability
  • Solution-oriented individual who drives for results
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Excel, Word and Microsoft project

Our office is located downtown Chicago at the corner of Franklin & Monroe streets. However, we're currently working together remotely.
