The Vendor Operations Analyst will be responsible for leading our vendor operations and performance management operations within the Groupon Goods Vendor Operations team.  Oversight of this area will cover all aspects of vendor management, risk identification, performance monitoring, reporting, analysis, process improvement, and project management.

This position oversees vendor compliance and daily reporting. Additionally, they focus efforts on improving the overall health of their assigned categories by creating short / long term planning activities to improve compliance reporting, and validate credits where appropriate.  This role interacts across multiple departments and functions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage a portfolio of 600+/- vendors to ensure success against Groupon’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Reporting automation and reporting accuracy 
  • Creating & updating existing reporting on trends, SLA management, and Vendor Ops team metrics
  • Focus in the areas of dead tracking & overall cycle time reporting and improvement plans
  • Build organized compliance partnerships with team across the Goods organization including: fulfillment, analytics, freight, merchandising, customer service, buying, and inventory management team
  • Ensure any vendor partner escalations are resolved in a timely manner
  • Potentially directly or indirectly managing 1 compliance specialist 

Key Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in a similar role, Salesforce or other CRM experience preferred

  • Demonstrating a clear understanding of the pace and other characteristics of a startup environment.
  • Ridiculously detail-oriented, advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Planning and carrying out responsibilities with minimal direction (you are not completely on your own)
  • Familiarity with creating Tableau dashboards highly preferred, but not required
  • Strong familiarity with SQL to build reporting/run analyses is preferred
