Vice President, Marketing
In 2017, Yello closed a series C funding round of $31 million and continues to grow quickly. We’re looking to hire people who believe nothing is impossible, love to learn and be curious, can be accountable for success, always enjoy the journey and will own their personality. If this is you, come grow your career with Yello.
About The Role
Your employees would walk through a wall for you - because you take the time to develop them and teach them and support them, but you are also demanding and they know you get the best out of them.
Your VP of Sales would sarcastically say “I have to admit, for a marketing leader, they are pretty great.” You got there because you focused on doing the hard work of building alignment with sales and partnering with them on driving revenue
You have done a bit of everything in marketing and like the variety and challenge of being expert in all areas of marketing. Your team appreciates this because while you don’t micro-manage, you can support them in anything they do and teach them.
You consider yourself a machine – you are tireless and relentless. You wake up in the middle of the night thinking about the click-through-rate of the email campaign sent that day or the conversion rate of a new digital ad campaign.
When presenting new messaging on product features to sales, they love it, they get it and they use it.
You believe all problems can be solved with technology and stay on the absolute cutting edge to find new and creative methods to generate demand. But you also know that your best resources are the people on your team.
Your CEO trusts you because you measure everything - not to satisfy the CEO, but to satisfy you. You use data to make better decisions and drive results. You are not afraid to experiment and fail because you use it to learn and drive improvement.
Your creativity is a bit off the charts. You regularly have people say “that is a great idea”.
You are not afraid to take control and lead, but you are mature enough to not need to control. You work really well with other executives because you don’t make it about you.
You are not intimidated by working in an environment with very smart, very driven, and very technical. You can keep up with them intellectually and like being around people like this.
