PowerReviews works with more than 1,000 global brands and retailers to deliver cloud-based software that collects and displays ratings and reviews and questions and answers on websites. Ratings and reviews solutions from PowerReviews are essential for consumers as they search and shop online and in-store, and they are proven to increase online site-wide sales.

As Vice President of Strategic Partnerships you and your team will develop and execute strategies and programs to grow revenue through partnerships with ecommerce platform providers, digital marketing and commerce technology providers, and related agencies and consulting companies. The Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will have a key role in shaping the company’s go to market strategy, working with senior leadership in Product, Sales, and Marketing. You will be responsible for developing and operationalizing both strategic alliances and technology partnerships. This role will report directly to the SVP, Marketing.

Key Accountabilities

  • Establish the strategy and execute the plan to support PowerReviews long- and short- term business objectives through partnerships.
  • Qualify, structure, negotiate, close, and manage strategic partnerships that drive PowerReviews solution adoption, revenue, and customer acquisition.
  • Build and implement strategic alignment between PowerReviews and partners.
  • Develop business models to support partner-related investments; measure, analyze and optimize partner-related metrics achievement over time.
  • Structure and negotiate commercial and technical agreements with partners.
  • Maintain active relationships with key partners reinforcing our leadership position in the market, proactively addressing business issues and identifying ways to maximize value for both parties
  • Develop, maintain and grow multi-level relationships with partners, including executives as well as sales, marketing, technology and LOB leaderships; through regular engagement and collaboration with partners, ensure PowerReviews is top of mind.
  • Actively prospect, cultivate, and close new revenue generating partnerships; establish and manage partnerships that meet and exceed annual business goals.
  • Drive post-close engagement plans for success.
  • Expand relationships with existing partners by uncovering expansion opportunities, developing and driving go-to-market strategies.
  • Recruit, manage, and inspire the partnership team.
  • Develop and improve internal processes and tools to easily measure and optimize the performance of the partnership team. Regularly report to leadership on progress, plans, and challenges.

 

Requirements & Preferred Skills

  • 10+ years of experience working in technology in a business development or product management capacity at a market leading company, preferably in ecommerce or digital marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with people across all levels and organizations internally and externally.
  • Extensive experience formulating a partnership vision, strategy, and execution plan.
  • Proven track record in building and expanding partnership programs to drive revenue.
  • Technical ability to understand software and recognize areas of product integration, discuss product roadmaps, and engage with product managers
  • Extensive industry contacts and ability to navigate technology landscape; must be wired to be the ecommerce and digital marketing communities.
  • Proven experience starting from scratch to develop, negotiate and structure complex deals.
  • Passionate about technology and its ability to have a meaningful impact on the world.
  • Creative, critical and solution-first thinker with customer service mentality.
  • Fun to work with, excellent at teamwork and cross group collaboration.
  • Able to travel (25%+)
