Vibes is seeking a Product Marketing leader to create and execute Vibes’ product marketing strategy and drive the success of existing products and future innovations. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to an exciting and critical chapter in Vibes’ growth and success. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial in spirit, technical, and has experience leading product marketing for SaaS solutions aimed at marketers.
This position reports into the Chief Marketing Officer and is located in Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute overall product marketing strategy for SaaS organization
- Develop and own product positioning and messaging that differentiates Vibes’ products in the market
- Develop messaging for product value proposition and deliver best of breed sales and marketing materials
- Establish, maintain, and leverage partnerships with Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Sales to drive internal and external readiness for adoption and in-market success for new products
- Plan the launch of new products and releases, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Be the expert on Vibes’ buyers, how they buy, their buying criteria, and on our competitive landscape
- Develop effective sales training materials and work with Sales Team to inspire, motivate, and ultimately close deals
- Develop thought-provoking, compelling presentations and customer facing content
- Identify opportunities for lead generation and create marketing collateral including case studies, data sheets, white papers, FAQs, etc.
- Assist CMO in team management, active mentoring, and professional development
- Effectively manage and develop a team of junior to mid-level staff
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years experience in product marketing; 5+ years in digital and/or SaaS
- Proven track record creating value through strategic product marketing in digital marketing industry
- Must have previous experience in a consultative role with a strong understanding of the digital marketing space
- Former responsibility in Product Management as well as Product Marketing highly preferred
- Command of best practices across marketing, product strategy and positioning
- Passion for taking the complex and making it simple, and for marketing through compelling stories
- Experience in development of marketing collateral, presentations, etc.
- Experience developing and launching new products in partnership with Product, Engineering & Sales
- Experience being a leader who motivates by inspiring the larger team and connecting business goals to their work; a strong mentor to people and able to work with junior and senior team members and help them grow
- Exceptional knowledge of sales, marketing, and development processes
