The Vice President of Quality Assurance is responsible for maturing bswift's Quality Assurance discipline and leading the QA organization in the development and execution of automated and manual quality testing for bswift.  Driving deeper code coverage with automated test scripts, and the development of critical metrics and dashboards is key to this leadership position.  In addition, this position will contribute to the development, implementation and operational maturity of the enterprise Quality and Risk Program.

Fundamental Components:

• Lead the evolution of the QA discipline incorporating best-in-class testing frameworks and practices
• Define and own the QA methodology with metrics-driven continuous improvement; analyze metrics and implement continuous process improvement
• Expand coverage of test plans and test cases covering functional product, integration, performance, regression and client acceptance testing with a strong focus on increasing automation
• Collaborate with Product Management, Development, Risk, Security and Support teams to foster a team based approach to high quality launches and drive appropriate changes in those organizations to ensure high quality deliverables
• Contribute to the scalability and performance testing strategy and execution
• Shape and support the adoption of test driven development and agile techniques

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

• 8+ years experience in Quality Assurance and software development
• 5+ years experience in leading a Quality Assurance program
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or equivalent
• Requires expertise across multiple platforms, processes or architectures, as well as broad knowledge of new technologies

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
