Our voice application team is growing in exciting ways, and as part of that team you’ll be working to design and develop intelligent interactive voice response (IVR) applications. As a voice application developer you will master the art of bringing together our client and designer’s customer experience vision into highly efficient and scalable applications, tightly integrated with other Vail technology. While addressing complex development issues, you’ll have the opportunity to work with several facets of IVR development including system configuration, voice user interface design, backend-end data connection, computer telephony integration (CTI), testing, troubleshooting, application deployment and post- production support. You will enjoy working out of our conveniently located application development office in downtown Chicago.

What we need to see from you:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- 1-5 years proven success in a software development role
- A strong understanding of Object Oriented software development techniques
- Experience in IVR application development involving complex call flows, reporting and call routing
- Professional experience with VXML or with an IVR development platform such as Cisco CVP or Genesys
- A deep understanding of the principles of IVR Voice User Interface design
- Experience with voice grammars or voice recognition platforms
- A Computer Science / Engineering degree or equivalent experience
