You will lead your team of software developers to build and deliver high quality voice applications. You will be responsible for growing the teams’ existing skill set and helping individuals with their career growth. Also, you will be responsible for ensuring successful collaboration among customers, project managers, designers and operations. At any time, there will be multiple customer efforts in progress at different stages of their development life cycle and you will be asked to contribute, at varying levels, to any of the activities from pre-sales activities to production support. You will lead your team of software developers to build and deliver high quality voice applications. - Lead and mentor new and experienced software engineers
- Motivate your team to continuously improve their craft
- Communicate with internal business stakeholders
- Communicate with external customers
- Assist in project planning by providing solutions and estimates
- Work with a wide range of technologies that integrate solutions with customers
- Transition solutions to the internal platform team
To be considered for this position you must have:
- 5 -10 years of proven success in a software development role
- Strong leadership skills
- The ability to communicate with developers and business persons
- Experience with VXML and Call Center Telephony
- Prior professional experience with Java, .NET, Ruby or other OO languages
- An ability to solve complex problems in a short amount of time
- A Computer Science / Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Ideally you will also be able to demonstrate
- Experience using MVC frameworks
- An understanding of multiple SDLC practices
- Experience with automated testing
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux/OSX
