VP of Marketing
PEAK6 Investments, LLC is an investments firm with a number of diverse portfolio investments. As part of its core investment strategy PEAK6 has developed an internal consulting organization (PEAK6 Consulting Group) that is leveraged throughout the investment lifecycle. The Consulting team’s scope of engagement can vary widely from consultative in nature only to as extensive as operating roles within portfolio companies. Each engagement is different which provides for a very compelling mix of interesting work and opportunities. The VP of Marketing will manage client relationships while developing and leading multi-faceted digital strategies leveraging multiple platforms - with a strong focus on social - as well as our digital delivery teams across a diverse mix of portfolio investment companies. You’ll identify and drive growth opportunities, fostering innovation that delivers on our portfolio clients’ business goals. And, you’ll constantly push the limits of marketing to change the way companies and their audiences connect. It is a unique role that will allow you to flex your marketing muscles – from media and metrics to creative and brand.
- As the principal point of contact for Marketing, you'll be responsible for continuing to develop long-term relationships, anticipating client needs, and working with your supporting teams to coordinate efforts aimed at solving those needs.
- The Marketing Leader is responsible for coordinating the development, management, measurement, targeting and presentation of multi-channel digital strategies aligned to client goals.
- The Marketing Leader works with multiple teams (internal and external) to efficiently deliver strategies, solutions, flawless execution, and results for presentation to clients.
- Staying attuned with your clients’ marketing presence and the changing consumer landscapes, you'll be responsible for managing and anticipating a list of ongoing deliverables and working with support teams to ensure tasks are being completed in a timely manner.
- You will collaborate directly with the Analytics Team to ensure progress towards client goals is actionably measured and that results are incorporated into client deliverables.
- You'll be responsible for leading client meetings, as well as working with the VP Client Services to coordinate the agenda and presentation materials.
- You'll be expected to mentor Marketing specialists, as well as participate in exercises aimed at connecting and educating members of other teams throughout the Consulting organization.
The skills you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA Preferred
- Must have 10-12 years of experience developing and presenting custom marketing solutions within a digital marketing, advertising agency, or Consulting environment
- A deep understanding of digital mediums, technologies, and trends
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Demonstrated experience in building teams
- Exceptional analytical skills and working knowledge of Google Analytics
- Exceptional communication & presentation skills
- Strong executive presence
- Ability to travel up to 30% of time
