ParkWhiz seeks a leader to assume the reigns of our finely tuned and highly capable marketing team. As a member of the Executive team, the VP of Marketing will be responsible for aligning marketing efforts to business plans and objectives - developing meaty goals and digging in to drive programs that achieve results.
Reporting to our President of Consumer Platforms, our ideal candidate is a leader and a doer who will mentor our existing team and have no problem jumping into the details to get it all done. What You'll be Doing:
  • Create and implement multiple complex programs and/or promotions resulting in the development of strategically sound deliverable that boost lead generation.
  • Implement strategies across various media, platforms and venues to drive brand awareness, impart value, launch and generate leads in a way that differentiates our product.
  • Oversee execution of complex campaigns - including email, OOH, and digital efforts.
  • Analyze marketing data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing activities, effectiveness and impact. Measure results and optimize the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into high LTV customers.
  • Effectively communicate vision to the marketing team - translating strategies into tactics and working cooperatively to build strong relationships with internal and external teams.
  • Lead and develop the marketing team and actively mentor and adhere to performance management practices to enable contribution and ongoing development of direct reports.
  • Serve as champion and guide to Digital, Social, CRM, and PR/Communications efforts.
  • Be a great leader who can foster trust and curiosity in their team and across the organization.
  • Select and manage external agency partners as needed to help deliver on objectives.
  • Identify and implement marketing tools and systems that accelerate growth and business insights.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 6-8 years of marketing leadership client side. Experience in a mid-stage startup a huge plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics, or related field.
  • Creative thinker and innovator with proven ability to lead creative, communications/PR, and digital marketing teams to great results.
  • You’re an organized team leader who operates with a high degree of independence, demonstrating attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously.
  • Strong mobile, SEO/SEM, affiliate, display re-targeting and acquisition, social advertising channel knowledge - you know best practices in each and can see through the matrix to make them work together.
  • An orientation toward performance – you know how to spend smart, be clever, and actively manage budget to maximum efficiency.
  • Strong leadership capabilities – can listen, mentor, and show greatness by example. And, don’t forget the fun.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation skills and ability to influence others; adept at building positive, collaborative relationships.
  • The need to stay up on the newest marketing technology, but you’re also pragmatic in your testing and practices.
  • Mad analysis skills and curiosity that drives you to use them - strong working knowledge of Excel a must and SQL a plus.
