We are a mobile security company located in Oak Park, Illinois just outside of Chicago. We recently launched NowSecure, a new mobile security app that you can download for free on iTunes and the Playstore.
NowSecure has been growing at a rapid pace, nearly doubling its size in 2014. With a recent $12M Series A funding raise we will almost double in size again in 2015.
Who we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will be technically savvy, have experience working in both self-serve and enterprise B2B environments and be able to toggle between rolling up their sleeves and setting strategic direction. As a high-growth technology company, we need someone with broad experience including performance marketing, content marketing, brand, event marketing, and product marketing. Both strategic and tactical, the VP of Marketing will be focused on planning and executing campaigns to feed leads to an ever-growing sales team. We are looking for an outstanding marketing leader to be a member of our world-class team. The right candidate is a veteran of marketing in a B2B environment and has a demonstrable track record of delivering successful enterprise marketing strategies that drove demand, awareness, and pipeline acceleration. This is a green field opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute enterprise marketing strategies
- Managing a growing team
- Drive new & creative lead generation activities including direct marketing, social tools, webinars, customer referral programs, and customer case studies
- Develop a deep understanding of enterprise customer needs and how to best position our products
- Work across functional teams to develop content that makes campaigns engaging and compelling. Use that content as a central component of powerful and effective campaigns to connect with enterprise buyers.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to determine ROI and prioritize resources
- Ensure that marketing activities tie closely with overall corporate marketing strategy
Required skills and experience:
- 10+ years of B2B software product or field marketing experience (SaaS experience is a plus)
- Experience marketing to a global audience
- Proven track record of developing and executing winning strategies in the enterprise space
- Experience with optimizing Salesforce and marketing automation software, especially Marketo
- Successfully managed and developed marketing teams
- Understanding of the enterprise software purchase, development, and implementation cycles (Experience in Analytics and/or Business Intelligence markets is a plus)
- Service oriented and committed to exceeding expectations
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, strong analytical and communication skills, and a team player.
- Be agile and experimental, bringing new ideas to the team and move at a fast pace to hit aggressive goals
- Strong writing skills and a keen attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience with channel marketing
- Experience working in engineering-driven organizations
