As the VP of Marketing at Inventables, you'll own the overall marketing strategy and efforts. You'll be responsible for leading the team that will support our long term goals and develop effective marketing campaigns. We’re seeking a hands on leader with strong influencer marketing experience and a strategic and analytical background. Someone who understands how take a product through the different stages of market adoption.  This position will partner closely with Product, Engineering and Leadership and must thrive as a driver of cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage comprehensive market strategy and product positioning
• Accountable for planning and execution of marketing spend and top line revenue
• Own the financial budget, forecast, and projection
• Build and measure the sales funnel
• Drive growth through influencer marketing, networks, and communities to increase awareness and activity
• Create programs to drive adoption of our full product suite to grow both revenue, and value created for our customers 
• Lead efforts in crafting compelling messaging to increase awareness of the Inventables brand
• Grow and manage the marketing team
• Own efforts around product launches to maximize impact on revenue

Experience

Required

• 5+ years management experience in marketing
• Experience working in an early stage startup 
• Strong influencer and affiliate marketing experience
• Ability to think creatively and execute tactics that produce ROI
• Content marketing experience
• Analytical, data driven decision-maker
• Located in the Chicago Area or willing to relocate

Preferred

• Experience working in a network based business (growth through networks and communities)
