Objective Paradigm is running a Priority Search for a VP of People for 10th Magnitude.

What You'll Contribute:

  • Culture - Help the company sustain and build upon our culture and core values through hyper growth. You'll partner with senior leadership to effectively architect, scale, and develop our rapidly growing and changing organization

What You'll Do

  • Build and lead all aspects of our People function in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Provide insightful data to guide strategy and provide solutions. You'll provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee engagement, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development
  • Act as the face of HR for the company
  • Be responsible for senior level decision making and both day to day management and strategic direction of the organization
  • Create and implement an annual agenda for HR strategy in line with the business plan. You'll ensure HR plans support the needs of the business but are also flexible enough to cope with changes in the organization, as and when they occur
  • Provide information and reports on data such as staff turnover, references, cost per hire, training hours per person, and more.
  • Provide advice on and administer parental leave cases.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and design and implement a training plan with input from business heads.
  • Ensure all staff receive appraisals in accordance with company policy and assess probationary periods.
  • Deal with any performance .or grievance issues in a legally compliant and professional way.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are up to date and legally compliant.
  • Review all staff salaries and make recommendations for pay raises in consultation with department heads. You'll implement any increases and promotions.

What We Need From You:

  • 8+ years experience in Human Resources or related field required
  • 8+ years experience in talent management, organizational development, building training practices, etc.
  • Experience building a talent management, organizational development and training practice(s) from the ground up
  • 3+ years in a Human Resources leadership or Talent leadership position
  • Strong understanding of the proper interview processes, benefits administration, payroll and other HR functions
  • PHR certification
  • Excellent communication, leadership and planning skills
  • Demonstrable ability to lead a talent management and HR team
