VP, Product Management

As VP of Product Management, you will build, guide and manage the product initiatives at Retrofit. You are inheriting a market-leading product, and some of the best customers in the world.  You will report directly to the CEO.

You will architect an inspirational product strategy and work with your team, technical leaders and company executives to make it real. You will drive profit growth built on user and buyer delight from existing and new product initiatives. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your thought leadership, industry experience and structured contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.

You are passionate about behavior change, analytics & reporting, mobile technology, behavioral economics, agile development and transforming lives and workplaces by measurably improving health, happiness and performance.

You must communicate clearly, concisely, collaboratively and compellingly with the company, customers and the market at large. You and your team will work with Development to define product release requirements. You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, collaborating on and guiding product positioning, benefits, and target customer decisions. You will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, working with sales and key partners and customers.

The company will rally around your strategic leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical delivery
• Leading and inspiring the team that specifies market requirements for current and future products by creating and managing the market and user research we need to build valuable products (A/B testing, usability/user testing, contextual inquiry, data analysis, competitive analysis, etc…)
• Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
• Guiding partner strategy
• Managing the P&L performance of the Product

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years’ experience launching successful (profitable & innovative) products
• 5+ years’ experience building and managing high-performance and high-morale teams
• Extremely smart, entrepreneurial profile with strategic vision and a strong bias to execute
• Knowledge of healthcare, technology & digital health markets preferable
• Experience with mobile & web applications
• Motivational leader, team driven, high-energy self-starter personality.
• Start-up experience that has scaled
• Comfortable in very fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a B2B environment
