Our Web Content/Catalog Manager will be an integral part of the business, working with every team, to ensure our site content is up to date and our catalog of products are configured correctly.

 

You will be responsible for…

  • Overseeing the content presented on websites.
  • Responsible for creating, editing, posting, updating, and cleaning up outdated content.
  • Managing the product catalog, including creating, editing, and removing products.
  • Creating site-wide content standards and style guidelines.
  • Managing the end-to-end process of all content and configuration changes on the site.
  • Maintaining cross-functional relationships throughout the team to optimize processes and communication as it pertains to the site content and product catalog between Marketing, Design, Business Development, Operations, and Product.
  • Assisting with the maintenance, distribution, and tracking of promotional calendars.
  • Monitoring digital and category best practices and providing competitive analysis to support strategic recommendations.
  • Optimizing site content to improve site engagement and product conversion.

We are looking for candidates with the following relevant experience/skill sets:

·       Attention to detail and eye for quality

·       Mid-level Creative writing skills - this role will assist important for content quality and I’ll look to this person for assistance with copywriting & content strategy

·       Basic experience with image editing software to ensure image content meets site requirements

·       Ability to evaluate data and make informed recommendations and decisions based on findings

·       Excellent oral and written communication skills required

·       Bonus: Past experience managing an ecommerce catalog and/or website content.

·       Bonus: Ability to write basic HTML/CSS

Location

Our HQ and engineering lab are located in Chicago's trendy West Loop neighborhood, but our culture is now remote-first. With the exception of our industrial designers, we have a fully distributed team across the United States!
