Job Description

GoHealth is looking for a WordPress Web/ Visual Design Developer to enhance and maintain our B2B web properties and communication tools. This person plays a key role in the organization’s overall online marketing image and works as part of the product marketing - marketplace team to develop and manage our websites that will engage our customers.

Responsibilities

Work directly with the marketing team to help design, build, and maintain all aspects of the company website
Contribute to messaging and branding strategy and creation
Take a design from conception to HTML production-ready mock-up
Must be technically talented and creative (can code & design)
Produce fully valid and semantically correct code (HTML, CSS, and Accessibility)
Transform Photoshop comps into standards-complaint markup templates that display correctly in all modern browsers
Design graphic material for both internal, and external use, while setting standards and maintaining a consistent brand position
Optimize, conceptualize, develop, and illustrate wire frames and designs for GoHealth's websites and its affiliated properties
Complete site testing from links and code, to load times and spell checking
Develop SEO friendly websites
Collaborate with marketing and product marketing teammates to support website design and content marketing
Evolve and ensure consistency and integrity behind our company's brand, and brand guidelines
Manage a production calendar and meet deadlines
Collaborate with company leader, marketing teammates, and other key stakeholders on projects each quarter
Use your expertise to bring new ideas for design, and content creation to the team

Qualifications

Extensive experience with WordPress and WordPress plug-ins
Ability to code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Understanding of web publishing and strong SEO skills
Proven written communication skills ideally including published content, either online or via traditional media
Minimum three years of experience in maintaining and support marketing web presence (HTML, WordPress, CSS) with B2B industry experience preferred
Experience using database management (SQL/NoSQL), developing applications, or an understanding of UI/UIX principles is highly desired
High level of comfort with developing emails and newsletters
Self-starter mentality who takes ownership of their success metrics, and is self motivated
Highly collaborative person with exceptional interpersonal skills
