Marty Malone

Student/Senior Marketing Intern
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Introduction

I'm currently a senior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which means I'll be graduating in just a little over a month.

I've always loved Chicago and I've always loved technology, so I had the great idea to combine the two in my internship last summer at the City of Chicago Department of Innovation and Technology. I instantly fell in love with anything and everything related to the rapidly growing Chicago tech scene -- so much so that I spent my winter break back volunteering in 1871 at the Smart Chicago Collaborative.

Upon graduation I hope to be employed at a start-up doing fun, fulling marketing/social media/PR work. My specialties are very broad, so I believe I'd thrive at a small company! If you'd like to chat, message me on this site or connect with me via any one of my social media links above! (If you love Starbucks, R&B/Neo-Soul music, and/or tracking how many clicks your twitter links get via your own personal short url, I'm certain our chat will be the start of a beautiful friendship!)

I'm up for

Working for a company whose goal is to help make Chicagoans' lives better. I firmly believe the purpose of life is to help others.
