The series received a national 2011 Public Health category award from the Association of Healthcare Journalists (AHCJ). In 2007, Rose received a Telly Award for a story she produced called "Kansasbio" about the academic, corporate, and government efforts in Kansas City to establish a thriving bioscience ecosystem.

I'm up for
Hearing from startup founders who have a great story to tell... meeting bright people with good ideas... and impromptu invites from friends to the places with the best food in Chicago. (I like seafood, sushi, and French!) :)Interests

Rose,
For some reason every time MedKo our Seedcon company blog entry is shared, your profile photo appears as the preview image. We have had about 50 shares, so ... in a way ... you have been the face of our company lol. So thank you for having a great profile photo!
Hope to meet you soon.
Best,
Aljosha
Hi Aljosha,
Not a problem! You are welcome to use my profile photo anytime. :)

Your website is fantastic Rose. I'm just getting into the Chicago tech scene. What do you think of our entry to Seedcon?

Hi Nicholas,
I read your entry and I like it! I like humor a lot. As a matter of fact, I met Ben Hum (of cat Cheezburger fame) at a journalism convention in Las Vegas this summer and he has done very well with his humor franchise.
I'm hoping to cover the Seedcon event, and look forward to hearing your live pitch. Keep up the laughs. :)
Best regards,
Rose
