The Role

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is one of the most important members of the People Team that partners with our recruiters to support managing candidates through full-cycle process.  We're looking for someone to ensure interviews are logistically streamlined, improve recruiting operations, and effortlessly navigate dynamic environments with precision and composure.

Our ideal candidate is an individual that is meticulously organized, calm under pressure ambitious, intellectually curious and thrive in a fast-paced environment.  This person will assist the recruitment team by handling the administrative duties including candidate administration, scheduling, reference checking to ensure we find and seal the deal on great hires for Green Thumb nationwide.  Our company has a capable and diverse team of employees across our manufacturing, retail, and corporate groups who have joined us through organic growth and acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Track large volumes of applicants through multiple stages of the interview process including candidate communication, scheduling and paperwork
  • Responsible for calendar management and schedule coordination throughout recruitment process for internal and external stakeholders
  • Work within our Applicant Tracking System to track pipeline updates, post roles, and collaborate on process improvements
  • Administer candidate case studies, behavioral assessments as necessary
  • Draft, distribute, and process employment documents whilst maintaining confidentiality amongst sensitive candidate/employee information
  • Run various KPI reports from the ATS and update recruitment metrics for distribution
  • Actively source and prospect passive candidates supporting the recruitment team as necessary
  • Act at point of contact for all things recruiting and be able to delegate questions and concerns as needed
  • Complete and record reference checks as needed

 Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field required
  • 1+ year of recruiting coordination or administrative experience on HR team preferred
  • Outstanding organizational skills, can work independently, and a close attention to detail
  • Resourceful – someone who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and reach out to get an answer
  • Flexibility to deal with last minute changes, the ability to remain calm under pressure, comfortable working with minimal direction
  • Excellent technology skills including Microsoft Office Suite, exposure to applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred), and ability to learn new technology quickly
  • An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
  • Proactive problem-solver capable of identifying issues and generating solutions independently to share with the team
  • Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment
  • Possesses a high level of critical thinking
  • Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information
  • Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Green Thumb
  • Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.

  • Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry

Green Thumb is located in River North, a short walk from the Chicago Brown Line, near the Ohio expressway entrance, and close to many major bus routes. We operate across multiple states nationwide, so the biggest technical challenge can be the lack of clarity on what can and cannot be done.
